John Johnson - marriage to Mary Katesby
Not a lot is known about John Johnson from the records available, but we do have his Convict Transportation Record:
From this we find out he was convected as Leicester Assizes Court, 20th March, 1800; and was sentenced to 7 years. He may have been in the same court case as Thomas Allen.
He died on 16th Feb, 1803 and his burial record, signed by Thomas Marsden is below.
John Johnson is burried at St Johns Anglican Church Cemetery, Ashfield, NSW, probably in an unmarked grave.
